# Credit Inquiry

This endpoint receives a request to confirm if an account specified in the destination account number can be credited with a specified amount (or zero amount - for backward compatibility). The response to this request typicall would contain a boolean field 'canCredit', which specifies if inquiry was successful and credit can proceed.

On the successful completion of a credit inquiry, the transaction is logged in Transfer service and a credit completion request is expected to initiate the credit to beneficiary account
