Payment Instruments

The following payment methods are supported for transactions:

1. Retailpay Wallet — Pre-funded wallet for seamless transactions.
2. SVA Card — Stored Value Account card.
3. Postpaid — Credit-based payment option.

Amounts and Currency

All monetary amounts in the VAS APIs are expressed in the minor unit of the currency.

For Nigerian Naira (NGN), amounts are in kobo. This means:

• 10000 = ₦100.00
• 500000 = ₦5,000.00
• 100 = ₦1.00

To convert from Naira to kobo, multiply by 100. To convert from kobo to Naira, divide by 100.

This convention applies to all amount fields across Bills Payment, Airtime & Data, and E-Pins Voucher APIs unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Authenticate

Generate an OAuth 2.0 access token using your Client ID and Secret.

Step 2: Choose a Service

Select the service you want to integrate:

Step 3: Follow the Service-Specific Guide
